RICHARD J. PASCAL

Richard Pascal is a partner directly handling client matters, particularly commercial litigation, corporate law, employment and tax matters. Attorney Pascal was admitted to practice before the State of Connecticut and United States District Court for the District of Connecticut bars in 1988, At the U.S. Supreme Court in 1994 and the U.S. Tax Court in 1995. Mr. Pascal earned Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also elected to Beta Alpha Phi, the National Accounting Honor Society. In 1982, Mr. Pascal achieved his license as a Certified Public Accountant in his home state of Maryland. Augmenting his twenty years as a practicing attorney, Mr. Pascal continued his involvement with the accounting field. Since 1989, he has been an instructor of accounting for night students at Three Rivers Community Technical College. Mr. Pascal has served as a director on the boards of various local nonprofit organizations. Prior to law school, Attorney Pascal held the position of staff auditor/small business consultant with Deloitte, Haskins, a major accounting firm (now known as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu) and was head of internal audit for a life insurance conglomerate.

Having successfully raised three children, Mr. Pascal resides in Norwich with his wife, Sheri.
